Working capital is the amount of money you must have available to pay for chicks, feed, medicines, and electricity before you receive payment for the birds. A typical 5,000 bird batch requires roughly ₹8,55,000 to ₹10,00,000 in working capital.

Allocation Breakdown

• Chicks (DOC): Paid upfront (~₹1,75,000 for 5k birds).
• Feed: Paid in installments or consumed daily (~₹6,40,000).
• Misc: Medicines, litter, power (~₹40,000).

The 75% Warning

This app alerts you when you have consumed 75% of your projected working capital. If this happens before Day 28, it indicates either excessive feed wastage or unrecorded costs, putting your final margin at risk.
