KodiBook provides poultry production protocols, feed targets, medication directories, and disease descriptions strictly for informational and educational purposes. Content on this platform does NOT constitute a licensed veterinary diagnosis, prescription, or clinical treatment directive.
Under the Indian Drugs and Cosmetics Act, 1940 and applicable animal health regulations, Schedule-H veterinary pharmaceuticals, therapeutic antibiotics, and biological vaccines must strictly be administered under the direct prescription and supervision of a registered veterinary practitioner (BVSc & AH). Always observe prescribed drug withdrawal periods before processing or marketing birds.
1. Platform Purpose & Informational Nature
KodiBook is an open-access knowledge platform intended to assist smallholder farmers, farm supervisors, and contract broiler growers in understanding standard operating procedures (SOPs), environmental housing, and contract farming economics. All calculators and mathematical formulas (including FCR, European Production Efficiency Factor, and Growing Charge estimations) are deterministic approximations based on commercial breed standards (Cobb 500, Ross 308, Vencobb 430).
2. Limitation of Agricultural & Commercial Liability
Poultry production is inherently vulnerable to unpredictable biological, biosecurity, climatic, and market risks, including heat prostration, power failures, feed quality variations, viral outbreaks, and market price fluctuations.
In no event shall KodiBook, its creators, veterinary reviewers, or contributors be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or financial loss—including but not limited to flock mortality, reduced weight gain, feed conversion penalties, grower charge deductions, or loan defaults—arising from the application or interpretation of materials published on this website.
3. Intellectual Property & Permitted Educational Use
All proprietary learning architectures, multi-lingual translations, computational calculators, and analytical syntheses are the intellectual property of KodiBook.
Farmers, agricultural extension workers, and students are granted full permission to read, save offline via Service Worker, copy links, print individual guides, and share materials via personal communication channels (such as WhatsApp) for non-commercial farming purposes. Automated scraping, mass redistribution, or commercial resale of the knowledge database without prior written consent is strictly prohibited.
4. Independent Integrator Directory & Third-Party Links
Our integrator directory features factual public information regarding commercial poultry integration companies operating in India (such as Suguna Foods, IB Group, and Godrej Agrovet). KodiBook is an independent educational platform and is not an agent, broker, or official representative of any specific integrator unless explicitly indicated under a sponsored partnership agreement. Contract terms, growing charges, and regional availability must be confirmed directly with the respective integrator.
5. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These terms and any matters arising from the use of KodiBook shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Hyderabad, Telangana, India.
