1. Our Core Philosophy

At KodiBook, we believe information is a public utility. We also believe that your digital footprint should belong strictly to you. KodiBook is engineered to run as a decentralized, static web resource. You do not need to register, log in, or provide any personal details to read our handbooks.

2. Local Storage (Cookies & Cache)

We use browser local storage (localStorage) to customize your learning experience. This data stays entirely on your physical device. It is never transmitted to our servers. This includes:

  • Bookmarks: Quick shortcuts to manual sections you saved.
  • Reading History: Recents list to help you return to your place.
  • Reading Progress: Percentage values to track which day cards are finished.
  • Theme Preference: Light mode/Dark mode system flags.

You can purge this local data at any time by clearing your browser's site cookies and storage data.

3. Analytics & Logging

To measure which guides are most helpful, we may deploy lightweight, privacy-respecting client event logging. Any tracked interactions (such as reading guide completions) contain absolutely zero personally identifiable information (PII) and are aggregated purely to measure aggregate usage.

4. Third-Party Integrations

KodiBook does not load ad networks, trackers, or commercial monetization scripts. External references to veterinary guides, farming resources, or government schemes may load external domains, which maintain their own privacy disclosures.

5. Transparency & Auditing

Because KodiBook is fully open-source, the codebase and structure can be audited at any time. You can review the underlying logic on our public repository.
