Temperature-Humidity Index (THI)

Poultry birds do not sweat. They cool themselves by panting. When both temperature and humidity are high, panting becomes ineffective, leading to heat stress and sudden death.

Summer Management

In North India, summer temperatures can reach 45°C. Without foggers, fans, or roof painting, mortality can spike to 15% in a single afternoon. Always activate cooling systems when the app warns of Heat Stress Risk.
